A few years ago, there was an animation site called the "10 Second Club" where the webmaster would post a 10 second audio/dialog clip for artists to download. The artist would then animate their own character using the audio clip as their character's dialog. People used it as a way to practice their animation skills as you usually had to perform lots of acting in order to match your character's motion with the dialog presented in the audio clip.
Recently, I've wondered what happened to that site. Well apparently the 10 Second Club got hacked: Read More. In its place, they created the "11 Second Club". I guess using the number 11 makes it easier to find the site and it's better for branding purposes. The site looks great and they are also sponsored by Animation Mentor. It's good to see that site quite active with animation entries and a big forum. Keep an eye out on this site as you will most definitely see the early works of future Pixar/ILM/Weta Diva Animators. Of course, you should also participate if you happen to like animation and need some new personal project to work on. Check out http://www.11secondclub.com/ for more info.
