Sony did something really out there.  First it was the bouncing balls in San Fransico, then it was the synchronized paint on the building now this.  Don't know if this is real, but it seems real enough.  A town in Iceland was succumbed to Sony's little ad.  They placed speakers around town and played music for a whole week.  I don't know if it sounded as loud as it seemed in the video, but I sure would have been irritated after a day.  Even so, if that was in the US, I'd probably just grab those speakers, and use them for my own personal use (Home theater!).  It would have been cool if they played some Bjork or ABBA in there.  Anyway's check out the video.
