People are doing some really cool things with projections.  Take this for instance.  It's real and I'm guessing you have to stay at one place to see the true effect.  The room has to be pretty much dark as well.  None the less, it's still amazing.  Makes me wonder if the little scanner light at the beginning is required to get where all the placement of the object are before the light show begins.  Enough of trying to figure it out and let's just watch the video below.  Created by the company  Superbien from France.

Looks like the Blender Foundation's short "Sintel" is further along than I though.  Just by looking at this trailer, you can tell it's heading in the right direction.  I gotta say, the models didn't look that great in the stills, but wow do they look awesome in motion.  Props to the crew and all those blenderheads out there that contributed.  Man now I can't wait.  I hope this comes out within the next two months.  I want my DVD right now.  Visit the Sintel site at durian.blender.org for more information.

You just can't get enough of them.  If you want to see more check out this trailer.  It's was created  by five people.  Three were in charge of the animation and two where in charge of sound and music.  Now if you haven't noticed, the style is very 80's to early 90's.  To me it reminds me of the Ninja Turtles, the animation the came out like 2 years ago. What's even stranger is the ninjas themselves reminds me of the ninjas in Mortal Kombat.  Maybe because of the colors of their suits.  I was waiting for one of them to "Get Over HERE".  Anyways enjoy the video don't forget to check out their deviantart page at boom-bros.deviantart.com.

Sometimes an animation is not always about bling and schwing (don't know if its a word).  No matter how good it looks, if the story and animating sucks, then it won't be a good short.  Well, not with this one.  Here the creator, Daniele Zannone,  focused on getting the prefect character animation he/she could possible get.  Not to worry though,  along with the good animation comes a really neat short story/concept.  Maybe I'll try to work on my character animation skills.  Check out Daniele's short called Helium.

Well apparently Kevin Conroy (the one that voices the animated Batman) disagrees with Bale's Batman voice.  At the recent C2E2, Kevin Conroy was commenting on Bale's Batman voice and he didn't like it at all.  I'm sure a lot of people will agree just like the people in the audience.  I'm gonna have to agree with Kevin's statement.  Bale's voice is kind of rough like Batman is drunk.  It's like Bale is trying too hard to create that voice.  I get that you don't want to sound like Bruce Wayne, but come on, Bale's Batman voice just doesn't fit the Batman.    Oh well, the third Batman film will be made and we'll still get Bale's "trying too hard" Batman voice.

I'm just a sucker for these type of things.  What things am I talking about?  Well,  informational motion graphics is that thing.  Kind of like the video called "Credit Crisis", this one takes the topic of how to help feed people that don't have enough to eat.  It's quite interesting what information the video gives.  Graphics are simple as well as the animation, but the message gets through very well.   One thing for sure, in my case anyways, I always end up watching the whole thing which is a good thing.  I'm surprised they don't show this type of stuff in schools especially in elementary. The video was directed by Denis van Waerebeke.  Anyways enjoy the video:
