So what do we have here? Looks like we’ll be getting some kind of new Batman every year until 2013. So you’re saying what the hell is he thinking. Well, for starters, there’s going to be a new straight to dvd release of the animated Batman: Year One coming out at the end of October. Then next year we’ll have the final installment to Nolan’s Batman saga. Then in 2013 Cartoon Network will be getting a new Batman.
So what sets the Cartoon Network’s Batman from the rest of the other animated Batman? Well, this will be the first CGI animated Batman series. We’ll be able to see batman in the CG world. Think of it ala Transformers Prime animated series. Let’s just hope it will be a very dark Batman and not a lot of bright colors.
Check out this promotion art for the series called Beware the Batman airing sometime in 2013 on Cartoon Network. I’m not sure about the design, but I’m sure it’ll grow on me if the story is good. Now if only Cartoon Network could start airing new Thundercats episodes.
After some small pictures and nothing else. We finally get a long sneak peak at Cartoon Network’s new Thundercats. One word I have to say is that it is truely anime made for the western viewers. So what will we expect from in the animation department? Really great action sequences, very good camera angles, and very static scenes where there is dialog. Oh, did I mention the characters don’t look like they came out of the wrestling realm.
Story is scarce, but do check out the trailer for it below:
You’re wondering what the Young Justice is. Well, think of it this way. If you’re a comic book reader, then you already know what a group of superheroes (DC Comics) are called. If you don’t know, they are called the Justice League. So, what is the Young Justice, well it’s not those superheroes as kids, but pretty much teenage versions of them. They are more of pupils to the great superheroes. I wonder how the story is going to be like. If you watch the six minute preview below, you’ll notice that Batman is out in the daylight. What the hell is that all about. Anyways, by looking at the preview, below, it looks to be worth the watch. The character designs are great, and the animation is superb as well. Let’s just hope that the story doesn’t disappoint. Catch the Young Justice on Cartoon Network on Friday, November 26 at 7pm.
