I don’t know what happened to me. I’ve haven’t wrote on this blog in a while. So did anyone watch the trailer for the new Transformers while watching the super bowl? Well I was and I didn’t even noticed that this trailer. Maybe I didn’t care for the commercials because they were just not good. It seems a lot of these advertisers are just paying big bucks just the get on the spot and don’t support it with some great witty commercials. Super Bowl used to be not only about the game itself, but it was also about the commercials. Many non-sports fans watched only for the commercials, but this year it just wasn’t up to par.
Enough of that ramble, what I was trying to get at was the short teaser for Transformers 3. Can anybody say whoo hoo. More destruction and action. Surprised how quickly they got Chicago to look so damaged and have the autobots looking and moving great. Considering the film was just filmed last summer, kudos to the hard working artists for a great job. I’m sure the footage isn’t final, but man if those the last scenes, Chicago is going to be annialated to a pulp.
Oh yeah, anyone noticed how a lot of these trailers are doing the single beat thing and timing the video with it. I don’t know about you, but I believe Inception (I could be wrong) started this whole craze with trailers doing this to create some sort of mood, almost like a climax til the title is shown. It’s almost like a trend. Anyways, if you haven’t seen the new teaser trailer for Transformers 3 check it out below:
Yes, after many commericals, months, teaser, whatnots, the movie, Where The Wild Things Are, is finally out in theaters. Now it seems like there are good and bad reviews. There have been rumors of little children who’ve seen the movie and came out crying. What could it mean. Who knows, but to me it just sound that this movie isn’t really made for the youngins. Now let me direct you to two review from Ain’t It Cool News. Both with two different opinions of the movie. Check it HERE and HERE .
It’s finally out. Though it doesn’t come out for another 8 months, the trailer does look good. Looks like the look is the same, just more up to date. The voice actors seem to be the same and we have the same guy doing the main song for this movie as well. Toy Story 3 is one movie you shouldn’t miss next summer.
As you can tell from this trailer, the little boy has grown older and I believe has gone to college. The toys contemplating if they will be thrown away. You soon find out that they are placed in a kindergarden or daycare room full of little kids. It looks like this is where their new adventure begins.
Don’t forget Toy Story 3 comes out next year. If you can’t wait that long, you can catch the double featurette of both Toy Story 1 and 2 in theaters. Oh, there will be bathroom break in between too.
The chant is back and as creepy as ever. The reboot of the guy in the black and red stripped sweater. Freddy Krueger is back. It still gives me chills. Maybe because when I was a kid, this guy freaked me out. Now it’s back. You might noticed some notable faces like the guy who played John Connor in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and the girl who played Ruby (Version 1) in Supernatural.
You do get a small glimpse Freddy, but is the look good? It a toss up right now. The thing is his voice is too different as well as he pretty much doesn’t have all those wrinkle things or whatever on his face. His skin looks so realistic though. How a real skin looks when it’s just been burned really should look like. He does kind of remind me of some of the monsters or ghosts in Harry Potter except he’s human flesh colored. All I know is the character who plays Freddy, Jackie Earle Haley, is making him into his own.
Too bad that A Nightmare on Elm Street opens on April of 2010. It would have been a perfect fit for a Halloween release. I’ll be watching this when it does comes out. I’ll watch something happy before I see this movie though.
9 comes out today. After all those teasers and a great trailer, we finally get the movie. Will the movie be a sleeper hit like that other movie with the same number. Time will tell. If the movie is anything like the short, it’s gonna rock your socks off. If you can’t watch the movie til the weekend, then watch the short to calm you down a little. Have a look at the short below. You will not be disappointed.
It’s coming. Coming out next year in the holidays, the beloved cartoon is jumping on to the big screen. Not too much is known about the film, but the film is being animated by a studio in Europe. Lets see how this translates to 3D world. Now where is my Thundercats and Voltron.
