Check out the intro movie to Mickey Mouse’s new video game called Epic Mickey. The feeling I get is more like the Kingdom Heart games. The game seems very dark, but with a Disney touch to it. As far as the intro goes, it looks to be rendered in real-time (check the anti-aliasing). I’m surprised it’s in HD because you know that the game is only coming out to the Wii and it’s supposedly not capable of HD. With Mickey, he always so curious. Playing with thing and creating trouble. Is this what Curios George was created from? Anyways, it looks to be fun.
If you’re don’t know what the game play is about, it’s pretty much an adventure game where Mickey has a paintbrush and you can paint things or erase things to your liking or to help you progress in the game. I’d really like to play this game, but it’s for the Wii. It looks so outdated not being in HD.
Probably the most reason why I don’t play my Wii is becuase it’s not in HD. Well there is a way to play in HD using a very powerful PC and software. Take a look at the footage below. Look at it, smooth crisp graphics. Hardly any sparkly pixels or flickering. Now maybe this year, Nintendo will show the next system in their pipeline.
The classic 90’s game is making it back and revamped. It will be coming out for the Nintendo Wii. Hopefully they keep it the same, with the same voice actors and gameplay. This should be fun if the developers didn’t change anything. Just to let everyone know, EA has bought the rights to the game. Let’s see how this will turn out. Check out more information about this from EA’s press statement HERE.
Mario and the gang is back with an all new adventure. The game is called New Super Mario Brothers Wii. It will allow up to four players to play on the screen at the same. Keeping the 2D side scrolling alive. Now this takes me back to the days of the SNES (Super Famicom to those on the east). It looks identically to it with much higher resolution. All the tricks in the SNES version and much more are available at you disposal.
The game comes out sometime this holiday season. Like most games for the Wii, it will be a great party. I don’t know if there will be online play like Little Big Planet, but if it did, that would be icing on the cake. Now for the music, will be as quirky as this?
This game kind of came out of no where. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is coming out for the Wii this December. For those that are huge Final Fantasy fans, you will surely enjoy this action RPG. Though the designs are not as mature as those found on the regular Final Fantasy series, it should keep you busy until the big XIII come out sometime next year or the year after. From the trailer below, it sure be another fun journey that should give you plenty hours of playing time.
